Taking into effect how a photon is detected, a wave model is not needed. A duality, wave/particle is not needed. A particle model of light works quite well.
A grain of film requires about four to six photons within a short period of time to be exposed. (Edit this later.)
Is it possible to observe a single photon or we actually observing an occurence, several photons with a certain period of time?
